Hi! Allow us to introduce ourselves. Our names are Jared and Amanda Wellman and we live in Odessa, Texas. Jared is the senior pastor at Mission Dorado Baptist Church and Amanda is a full-time student at the University of Texas at the Permian Basin. We are currently a family of two but the Lord has called us to multiply.Exodus 22:23 says that God hears the cry of the orphan. For some time now, we have felt the Lord melting our hearts for the orphans in the world and after much prayer, we believe that He is calling us to adopt.
We cannot express how joyful we are that the Lord led you to view Hope on the Horizon. We believe that this is a name that captures the essence of what it means to adopt. Check back often as we progress in this journey together to see what the Lord is doing to bring home our son or daughter.
